WILLS & BEQUESTS

At times, some of our parishioners have left a bequest to our Parish in their will. We receive this bequest with mixed feelings. There is the joy of knowing that a faithful parishioner is now enjoying God’s presence, free from the troubles of this world. Often there is sadness - on behalf of the family who have lost a loved one, and at the realisation that we have lost another loved parishioner. There is also a great sense of thankfulness to the person for their generosity no matter how large or small the bequest is, it is all much appreciated. Sometimes these bequests come just when we need extra funds to carry out an important project. Always these bequests are a great blessing to our parish.

We thank you Lord for the gift of all our parishioners and we pray for those who have gone before us. May they be blessed and welcomed into your heavenly home where they will know peace and happiness.
