BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Throughout the year, many birthdays pass quietly, particularly those of our octogenarians (80+) and nonagenarians (90+). Recently, the Kyabram Catholic community gathered to celebrate these special parishioners at Mass.

Fr Uday offered a special blessing and reflected on the words of Proverbs 16:31: “Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.” We gave thanks for the faithfulness of these parishioners to Jesus and for the many blessings they have shared with their families, friends, and communities through years of love, service, and devotion.

Following Mass, parishioners gathered for brunch and birthday cake, enjoying a wonderful time of fellowship, friendship, and celebration. It was a joyful occasion that recognised and honoured the wisdom, dedication, and enduring faith of our senior parishioners.

May the Holy Spirit continue to shower them with abundant blessings, graces, good health and happiness in the years ahead.
