RECONCILIATION

THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Bear with one another and if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
Colossians 3:13
In St John’s Parish, the First Sacrament of Reconciliation is available for both children in Grade 3 and adults. Parents of children attending St Joseph’s Primary School will be contacted through the School.
Children attending non-parish based schools will need to contact the parish to have children enrolled in the preparation program which is now run through the catholic parish of Warragul.
As a minimum requirement for Reconciliation at St John’s, attendance the following occasions is necessary.
· Commitment Mass (Trafalgar)
· Parent Workshop (Warragul)
· Parent/Child Workshop (Warragul)
The First Sacrament of Reconciliation occurs in St John’s Parish Church in March- April.
We are very grateful that the Warragul parish team welcomes St John’s Parish’s smaller sacrament groups into their preparation.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation can be celebrated at St John's Church Trafalgar on Saturday morning from 10:00 am, or by a time arranged with Father.
