KOINONIA JOHN THE BAPTIST

An international charismatic community of priests, religious and lay people founded in 1979 in Italy. Now with 10,000 members present in 20 countries, including Australia.

AIM: To share life together as brothers and sisters of Jesus, children of our loving Father. To be led by the Holy Spirit and be like John the Baptist and point to Jesus as saviour, the one who can give meaning and purpose to life, this life and the next.

MOTTO: Christ is Risen! Truly and we with Him.

Jesus has already conquered every problem, even death. We too can do the same because of His resurrection.

ACTIVITIES:  HOUSE OF PRAYER: A one hour weekly home meeting where we pray the scripture, share our faith story and encourage one another to grow in our faith and love for Jesus.

KOINONIA DAY: A monthly, Sunday afternoon meeting of praise, prayer, healing, teaching, testimony and friendship. Finishes with a meal together.
