St Augustines Parish Finance Council
Parish Finance Council
The Parish Finance Committee serves as an advisory body to the Parish Priest, who—according to Canon 532—is the sole administrator of the temporal goods of the parish.
This committee is independent of the Parish Pastoral Council. It is not a sub-committee and does not report to the Pastoral Council; however, both bodies work together in a spirit of cooperation for the good of the parish. When appropriate, the Parish Priest may invite the Finance Committee and the Pastoral Council to collaborate on particular issues or projects.
Meetings
The Parish Finance Committee meets quarterly on Tuesday's, or more frequently if needed.
Membership
Members of the Parish Finance Committee are appointed by the Parish Priest.
