Misa de Gallo, also known as the Mass of the Rooster, is a nine-day novena celebrated in St Brendan’s Parish each year in anticipation of Christmas.

The novena includes daily Mass from 6am from December 16 until December 24 each year. The novena has its origins in Spain and is loved by our Filipino community. The morning Masses are led by a committee of organisers including Filipinos, Anglo-Saxons, and other nationalities.

Breakfast follows each Mass in the Pastoral Centre. This is a great way to prepare spiritually for the birth of Jesus at Christmas with great joy and fellowship in our Parish.
